Are there any Off-Road locations NW of London?

Does anyone know of any off-roading locations, free or otherwise, located NW of London? I live in Rickmansworth (near Watford).

Similarly, does anyone know of any local clubs, groups or owners?

I live near J24 M25. I'm new to the landy scene so i'd be happy to meet up and go off for an afternoon. Don't know anywhere to go yet though! If i hear of something interesting i'll let you know.

Cool,

I'm new to this scene also. I live right beside J17 of the M25.

We have the Chilterns on our doorstep and I'm sure there are plenty of 'beginners' lanes to try - I just need to find out where.

I was also hoping there might be some more organised off-road activity so I could learn from some more experienced off-roaders.

If I hear of anything, I'll let you know.

do the footpaths of chelsea count as offroad. there are always plenty if disco's there at 10 to 9 in a morning.

did you ever find anything in Rickmansworth area as I live there too and fancy a bit of greenlaning

There were a few around Bovingdon and Hemel but I've since sold that Landy and moved to Leighton Buzzard!

Fortunately I've just purchased an old Disco so I'm back in the game!

I've seen some threads regarding lads based in Dunstable which is not a million miles away from either of us.

Philthy, get yourself over the the Herts Laners thread in the Green Laning section. Plenty of us local to you and we have a pub meet in the White Lion just outside Dunstable on a monthly basis.

There is an off road school near me just a bit south of ya near the polish war memorial A40 junction with ruislip road dunno how much they charge as havent had a chance to get in their yet
