Rear wiper motor needs replacing but they are expensive even 2nd hand on ebay.
The one I have has 2 sockets, one small 2 pin and a larger 2 pin.
The older and indeed cheaper ones have wires attached to them. Compared to the one I have; 2 where the small socket is and 3 where the large socket is.
Do you know if the motors are interchangeable other than having to mod the wiring?
EDIT: oh yeah! Sorry, its a disco 300tdi and I'm in Mid Wales
Also any idea if you can replace the nylon gear as that's been stripped? This would be ideal as the motor it's self works just fine. Looking around gave the idea of removing the nylon gear and using some kind of resin like epoxy to repair it and a triangle file to redo the teeth.
