Are P38 Seats the same as in RRC Soft Dash?

Hi Guys

I am looking for a replacement driver's seat for my RRC Soft Dash in grey leather.

These are hard to come by, but there do seem to be a lot of P38 seats for sale.

So, my question is, are the seats the same? Will they simply bolt in and work with the existing motors and controls etc?

The 2 types are very different. We have grey P38 seats but only tan leather RRc ones.

Thanks also for your PM. I will leave the ABS stuff for now as I am getting the car painted this week.

Please give me a shout as soon as you have grey leather RRC seats in.

Hi

I've been looking further and my Soft Dash seats are a different design to those in the previous RRCs, although they have the same switches etc.

They have the same pattern and stitching as those in the P38.

Can you simply swap over the base and upright part of the seat, and use the existing electrical stuff?
