Are Discovery 2's invisible?

Just got back from doing my chauffeuring duties,taking the better half to work.Not just once but twice 2 people have pulled out in front of me this morning as if i wasn't even there.FFS its Big,Black and weighs 2 tonne and its doing 30mpg towards you.Please don't pull out when i'm 50 yards away from you.They then have the nerve to give the finger when i blast them with the horn. Do these people just have a death with? or are they just FCKUING STUPID.

Pushing arseholes off the road should be allowed when you own a Landrover.

Maybe its because the dico is big it seems to be going slower,maybe you are thinking its worse than it is because your not sure if your heap will stop if you do have to drop anchor or maybe they can nip into breaks in the traffic much quicker than you could get yours moving.30 mph I think is very slow,I do it all the time now when I hit the 30(50kmh)limit since I got gatso'd .50yards whatever that is in metres,live and let live.

Thanks for the reply but i feel i have to clear up a few points.

1...I do not drive a heap....Its a 2002 facelift with full history and no expence spared when it comes to repair.
2...Its a 4.0 v8 so its not a slug.
3... They not nipping in and out of traffic, they pull out in front of me as stated in the original post.

The next one that does it is gonna be driving a compact as i feel like not even goin for the brake pedal

Erm... I'm not entirely sure but if someone has pulled out on you and you hit them in the side would it not legally be looked upon as being their fault for pulling out in front of you ? Personally I think they are jealous of being stuck in their little "fart boxes" when you got a 4x4

Just thought I'd ask as I've had this myself several times in both the 109 SIIa and the 88 SIII and wanted to make sure just incase


Oh and those little peugot bonnet's wedge quite nicely under the rear end of a landy (just don't ask how I found out)

What's a Discovery 2? I don't think I've ever seen one.
I drive a very tatty S3 and very few people pull out in front of me. Just as well - it's an early one without the servo.....
Still, I'm never going to outbrake the vehicle behind. (OK, how do you bury a Peugeot under the rear crossmember?)

You fit a rally pedal box to your series 3 along with an inline brake distribution lever fitted to the tunnel next to your left knee,so that you can switch all the braking force to the front wheels.This allows a series 3 to lift its tail and then sit on peugeots...lol

Should work in theory lol.
