Are Disco and Rangeie classic chassis similar

the classic rangie up to '86 had the rear shock fitted in one fore one aft i think where as the disco has them both fore
Reason I ask is that I am thinking maybe my rangie is worth more in pieces and if the chassis fits a disco then it would broaden the market.
It's a 1990 btw.

disco chassis don't really rust tho its the bodys that go on them, whats wrong with yer rangie why yer getting rid of her?
Nowt wrong just a bit ropey.
Gonna test it and see if it'll sell, I bought it as a stop gap whilst I got the 110 on the road.
Not too bad with rust, nothing terminal, well looked after just a bit old, use it every day though and the V8 with a straight through stainless system sounds gorgeous, that alone would sell it I think.
Dont want to let it go for less than 600 quid though.

Did that with the slitty, just weighed it in, dont want another theresorn it and wazz it in a field
Think I'll test it and advertise it as is for 500 quid an if it dont sell then try fleabay.
