Anyone wanna have a play on Saturday 18th March 2017

Hello, I have a discovery 2.5td (standard) that I am keen to try on the green and brown stuff. As a novice nothing to tricky to start with please. I am looking for a couple of other peeps to go with who can show me the ropes. I'm based in Nottinghamshire. Let me know if your up for helping out a newbie.

Yeah .. used the engine out of it in the 90, and the axles as the 90's were shot. Had an idea for a while, 'cos it's a good chassis, to one day rebuild into a trialler or challenge truck, but that'll come down to money, I guess. Keep meaning to get rid or scrap it, but ...

There aren't many lanes around Nottingham, you're better travelling out to Southwell, Grantham, Melton areas ..

Southwell 's nice love it when get jobs out that neck of the woods! Is there anything south like cotes neck or woods before Loughborough? I've not been before but itching to give it a try! Pity my 90s laid up; disco is pretty standard I'd probably get stuck thanks for advice though

Sorry, I dunno! I only know from many years ago when I lived in Eastwood .... Nowadays I go elsewhere, Wales, Derbyshire, North Yorks for laning weekends etc.

o. so ended up going to a pay Andy play site near Leicester. Was good but to small and in the end a bit pointless going round in circles. So now I need to find some routes

Yes, however I am off to Ilse of Mull in August for a week followed by a week on Scottish Borders on way back home so should have plenty of fun....unless wife insists I take the Touareg
