Took me Spare tyre a Greenway Macho for a puncture repair or at least an innertube fitted. Went back to collect it and was told it's fooked.

The bloody thing has started to come apart inside. :jaw: fooking thing.

looks like it's hit a pothole or kerb or something at speed. but it looks almost new, no chance of taking it back to the supplier and claiming manufacturing defect ?

Nope. was fully inflated until it went flat on us, on our way back from the November Sluts newbies trip, to salisbury Plain. Was fine until just before we turned on to the M5. In fact it went on the sliproad leading up to the M5. Can actually get my hand under the flap the full length of my fingers.

Generally if you take it back to the retailer and state it's a manufacturing fault they're obliged to deal with it, either take you at your word (unlikely) or send it off to be investigated by the manufacturer. I had a couple of oldish (3 years old I think) tyres on a normal car that went way out of round, I got best part of a new tyre in refund from the manufacturer. they take into account age and amount of tread wear.
