This is my first post to this brill forum can i first say hello to all you othere 4x4ers out there. I would like some advice off all the knowledgables out there please. I have just bought a 1995 P38 4.0 auto and am about to get it lpg'd with an IMPCO types single mixer type system with a 95lt=76lt usable wheel well tank. Could you please advise me if any other owners are running this type of system ie single point and if you have had any problems and also what sort of range do you get to a full tank someone has told me up to 240miles a fill does this sound about right??? I had a 1995 4.0 P38 a couple of years ago with single type mixer with no probs except for tendancy to stall now and then but i did not keep the car long enough to work out range i do know at one stage it was doing 9mpg
I think it may have been down to the ox sensors being duff the reason i sold the car was i had been frightened off by elec&eas horror stories £££s. I wish in hindsight i had stuck with it and done the repairs as and when they occur if any do that is so i have bought another P38 and am just going to live with the niggles if there are any if anyone can please give me any advice on the above i would be very very grateful.
