Anyone put a td5 exhaust back box on a 90 300tdi?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has put a 90 td5 back box exhuast section on a 300tdi. Does it sound much better? I know the flange needs welding and its not a straight swap. Thoughts appreciated..... thanks

Side exit is what's on mine and its better than the tankard location

would quite like a side exit, just worried about the noise.

I'm making my TD5 straight through then coming straight out the back as opposed to the side

ah thats quite a good idea, then its a bit further back to reduce the noise in the cab but keeps the good sound. Im just missing that 5th cylinder and the desired sound!
