Anyone out and about in Wales tomorrow??

Anyone out and about green laning in Wales / Cheshire tomorrow - would like to tag along - fairly experienced off roader and green laner - landrover 110.....

I'm working in the morning but could come out for a play in the afternoon/evening if you're interested? Do you have a particular place in mind? I seem to have lost my OS Map of Bala so I'd need to print off a bunch of stuff off the internet and plan things, etc....

We will still be out an about in the afternoon - where are you??

I'm on the Wirral too. How many others do you already have??

Just us at the moment - we had one other but he cancelled today - got a sick Disco.. We are in Upton - we could do what we are doing in morning and meet you to do the green lane at Moel y Parc just south east of St Asaph in the afternoon - could give you grid ref - what time could you meet??

Realistically, probably about 2pm. I've had a look at a map and can't find that green lane - can you PM me the grid ref? Thx

EDIT: found it - do you mean the Clwydian Way?

Starting just outside Bodfari at a place called the Grove Hall - grid ref SJ108699 is starting point - never done it before - found it on trailwaise - looks like long lane - finish point just outside Llangwyfan 130664

108699 is a bridleway, the Clwydian way starts (kind of) at SJ121689 (there's a short section to the West, but its not very interesting and intrudes a little too much on a sheepdog breeding farm). The main lane's quite benign to drive but the views make up for it - you go along the ridge and look down into the valley. Would you want to head a bit further south too, eg maybe White Stones or splashy lane?

PM me your contact details and we can sort something out for tomorrow, I'm up at 6am tomorrow but hopefully work should be all done by about 11am, then I need to get home & do this & that then head for the hills. (PM sent too).

Great to meet up and get out & about with Deb & Rob; and Mike and Gav. We initially went to the car wash and by chance, met up with 2 Land Cruiser owners. Then we headed east for some fun times!

Ooops, sorry!!!! I thought it was either Jimmy or Mike, my memory is not as good as it once was.

Had great day out with Paul, Gavin and Jim. Joe was particularly pleased that we had to winch Paul out! lol - Think Paul was also particularly pleased too that we managed to winch him out even though we went home minus his bumper!

I was planning to remove the bumper lower part anyway......

I power washed the car (really needed it) and trimmed the bumper today. Ideally I wanted it a little wider, but I was restricted to the point where it had previously rusted to anyway, then the other side to match. I nipped the corners out, bent the edges and welded the corners then ground to a neat curve.

Thats looking a bit neater now Paul - nicely done
