Anyone know where to get these??

Dunno if this helps, but just did something similar to the petrol-can hatches on my ex-mil 110. If you have the frames in place or can get them from an ex-MOD truck body modifying them to flip down like that would not be a big deal.

Mine are done in 1/8" ally plate with a stainless hinge and double latches - one top, one bottom, with the latter a lock rather than a thumb latch. it did take grinding off the old latch catch, but that was a triviality.

The actual construction if you don;t want to get too fancy was not at all hard and could easily be done in a home workshop with hand tools - if you get the door sheared by the company you're buying the metal from (I did not and cut it on power equiment - i have a pretty good shop).

thanks for the ideas lads, it seems they are few and far between as i expected, and none are exactly what i am looking for either. i think im going to look into making them/getting them made.

camosteve: thanks for that link!! while its not precicely what im looking for, i really like the idea of a bottom hinged one as it would double up as a table!!

thanks guys..

Buy a 110 utility. Or do what I did, wait till a good rear end comes up. I got this rear end including rack for £500. I've known the hatches be £300+ each!!

I have been toying with this idea for my own 110 Hardtop, just on one side though. It's such a pain having to unload all my stuff to get to the front. Another option is go to a coach/trailer builder who does chippy vans, it's exactly the same thing and you could save a lot of doe sourcing locally.;)

Do a google search for "Horse box locker doors" Thats what I'm using at the moment to replace the sliding windows on my 110 - worked out less than half the price of the name branded ones! ;)
