anyone know if series 3 wing skins fit series one???????

question as per title really , my series one wing has been badly crunched and need top/front repairs and skin replacing

reason i ask is as for a few different reasons/uses

1~ i need a straight skin so i have a profile to repair my top and front wing
2~ if any sections of the skins are the same mainly the top curve its good enough for what i want
3~ theres one by me for a tenner so if it would fully fit then its a bonus

I have absolutely no idea but for £10 Id happily try and see.

managed to get the series 3 wing for the £10 so just need to pick it up now , wont be original of course but mines an ex trialer and is far from original anyway

can anyone else shed some light on if they are the same or any tips?

have since baught and tried wing , it dosent fit as its too long so have cut it in half and shortend it , will be held together with 6 rivets as its cut at the top of the arch and so needs the least amount of rivets , its mainly been done so that i can get the curve right when repairing the crushed front and top

the front and top is now repaired , the wing skin is cut and mocked into place and actually looks quite tidy , will be fine untill i can get a decent series 1 skin

was shocked to find the original skin WELDED to the top and front though !
