anyone had mis-aligned defective wipac headlamps?

Hey all. i just bought a "wipac" headlamp kit from one of the major uk suppliers... i've found that the lens of the headlamp is misaligned... once fitted (and they only go on one way) the arrow on the lens that is supposed to point up is out of alignment... not uniformly either.. one headlamp is worse than the other. Evidently there's a problem in the assembly process as the lens is not correctly aligned with the "frame" of the bulb.

Has anyone else come across these defective headlamps recently?

Arrow points left doesn't it?
Just looked at my wipac Cristal and there is no arrow but marked 'top'.

but...

Me being daft here, but what exactly is the issue?

Wipac have obviously made a bad batch, i just wondered if anyone else had come across them...

The issue is the clip locators on the back of the bulb are in the wrong place, or the lens is wrongly oriented, depending on which way you look at it.

It's not a massive issue, i can still use them with the clips in the "wrong place" - but i will have to put in a bit of rubber and bend the clips inwards to stop the whole bulb rotating with vibration over time.

Previous identical wipac bulbs didn't have this issue.
