Anyone fitted this part?

part number 347646. a small bracket of sorts under the steering cowl. I know where it goes and how it screws to the cowl, but cant see how it fits elswhere.

Looks to me like the shroud just clips in the bracket, what the bracket is secured to I have no idea?

It does look different, but that's the one that came off. It screws together as shown in the manual but it wont fit over the parcel shelf, no room.

Hooks on the back of parcel shelf if you have it the right way up.

Hi I do have it fitted now, I fiddled about until it went in.

I know this is an old post but I'm also having trouble understanding how this fits could anyone share a picture of it in place that would really help me.

Hi this was my ancient post. As I said earlier I fiddled until it fitted. It does hook over the parcel shelf and under the steering column. Concealed now by the cowling. Best of luck with the fiddling.
