Be carefull you never know who is reading this thread, it could be getting stripped as we speak.
Sorry im so far away, the defender is out of action and the v8 disco would be a little costly in fuel, or i would have offered help. Im sure some one will help but may not be tonight.
Hope you get sorted

first thing in the morning pm "ratty" and "The Mad Hat Man" as they manage the telephone numbers

blue beasty, barmatt and myself manage the map.

Cheers looks like I'll have to get sirus number he seems closest, lol yeah that's where its stuck, will take a pretty decent truck or a winch to get to her tho.

A wee bit too far for me tonight I'm afraid, couldn't get there and back in time for work in the morning or I might have been up for a giggle at a gaylanderer:D

Good luck to you.

While were here so I don't get stuck again, when choosing a winch the weight that its states is that the max weight of the car? Or the pulling weight? In other words what sort of weight winch would I need for a 5d freelander

I'm not asking anyone to come out there way I'm just wondering if there is anyone on here who lives near kinverand is out and about tonight or first thing in the morning, who wouldnt mind a tug for a pint or two honestly didn't think id even get a reply, I have to give people tugs all the time in the snow, its late as I spent an hour trying to unstick it and then had to walk back

12000lb because winches are rated for smooth pull and not shock loading.

have you been for a little drive in the woods?

12000lb got it, actualy suprisingly not, everytime I've purposly gone out offroading its been fine this time a mate of mine thought a simple field would be a shortcut, on our way somewhere. I did make the clutch smoke think it will be ok?

It's been amusing, I'm off to bed and I expect pictures of gaylander owner and his vehicle.
I'm surprised as it is most likely a 1.8 k series that the burn it suggestion hasn't arose yet
night all

I don't want to pull anyone out of there way and I don't really have a lot of money to offer, just don't want some farmer to go and wreck it, as driving accross his field is a bit like ****ing on his chips, but I could doo with the car tomorow as the other half and my little one have just got back in the country and I'll need it to pick them up
