I need to move my project truck - a 100" cab-forward thing. Needs to go from Derby to Bridgewater. Can anyone recommend a reliable transport service? Thanks in advance.

I did a web search to get a car from Hartlepool to Slough. There are places that do this as return loads on car transporters, it takes a few weeks as they join up the unused journey legs, each night it will be in a yard somewhere, but the price was keen, I think it was under £200. The second cheapest was to hire a van and trailer but I didn't fancy 600 miles in a day.

Try https://www.anyvan.com/ or https://www.shiply.com/

I have used both I now find anyvan expensive with they're instant pricing, I have had some great prices with shiply
bringing vehicles, trailers ect up North. You might have to wait a few days to get some decent prices do not take
the first ones to quote you as they start with a high price then others will come along & bid cheaper to get the job.
Bit like ebay but the prices go down o_O ;)

Like Kevstar mentioned Shiply I've used them a few times, great service every time. Wait and get the best Quote, they all try and beat each other to get the job.

I've used shiply a fair bit too. It can be a little frustrating because some quite possibly excellent drivers can't communicate as well as they might. Obviously some might not be English. But all abr one single one that I did manage to get a deal with has been excellent. The one had a lot of trouble with directions, but got here in the end.
