I'd agree - surely any car of this age would need to be judged on its service history and current mechanical condition??? This one with 160K on the clock may be a load better than one with a lower mileage but less maintenance and less work done on it? Anyone buying a P38 of any age needs a very long checklist and the ability to walk away if too many boxes stay unticked.....£4K for an outstanding p38 with no problems and loads of provable maintenance etc isn't OTT when you consider the price of a same-spec new RR
