Any one know the length of power cables

Anyone know the length of the power cables from the battery to the starter and from the starter to the alternator I need to replace both getting voltage drop on each suspect corroded - the stealer wanted 35 quid plus vat for one of them bloody joke

25mm.sq. flexible welding cable will cost you around £3.50/metre incl.VAT and is more than capable for battery leads. You can also get the solder or crimp lugs to suit for around 60p. each. I would however suggest that you solder the battery clamp to the cable as the (Usual) two clamp screws only go in to a thin wall and the threads are likely to strip when you tighten them up. Have a look on here Welding and General Parts, Mig and Tig Welding Torches, Spare Parts, Accessories A couple of metres would be more than enough, probablly get away with one metre.

VWP - battery leads

they'll do custom for not much more

Just looked at VWP for a tenner I can get both all done good prices
