Guys,

Does somebody may be interested in UK for that kind of product in order to equip either :

-LPG P38 who needs to carry the spare for long trips
-P38 that runs oversized tires
-P38 that carry extra tank in factory spare wheel recess
?

Cmon, there's no photo of finish product since it doesn't exist and no price...it's definitely not any advert. It's a market study:)

I keep thinking about this, but I can't help thinking it would just look ugly. I've seen a couple with spare wheels on the back and they've just looked wrong.

All the aftermarket rear bumpers I've seen so far all look a bit too industrial for me too.

I would love to get my boot space back though so I would be very interested to see what you come up with.

I keep wondering about just storing it vertically inside the book like the Classics, but never got round to doing anything about it. That at least would give a slightly better layout.

What i've in mind is :
-same shape as plastic bumper except lower skirt since it often breaks
-wheel in the middle
-3rd stop light with a freelander one ;)

Dunno who made it, but I have actually got one of these. I bought it S/H off Ebay in readiness for converting my Classic to LPG. I'm not so sure that I will be proceeding with the LPG fit now, so I may not fit it. It weighs 5 times the original bumper, without a wheel on it.

It came off of a P38, but it does fit on my Classic. Just need to rig up some side panel supports for the outriggers. I thought about shortening them up (Classic style) but I think it would be better to secure them as they are in order to offer some counterbalance for when it is swung out in order to open the tailgate.

Let me know if you want piccies of it, but as I said it isn't actually fitted.

and a number plate mounting with a light.

No, I'm with Kooky on this. I would be interested in vertical storage inside the boot.
