after looking for ages ,taking thing apart looking for a acces hole ie the windscreen scuttle thing which i broke the ####ing clips

half the dash ,the wing panel
but still the only hole i can find in the bulkhead is where the main loom goes to the engine fuse box where of course theres no room to add more wires esp thick ones like mine !!!
where do you guys thread them? or do you run them under the car ,then up throw a boby/floor grommet ?

its a 1000 power invertor to change 12v to 240v for the car ,it has a shut down built in to close it if power level of battery to low and also will not work if car is not running so as well will not drain the bat

hopefully once fitted the alt can cope with it ,if not i will have a look at fitting another 2nd bat ect

but i was hoping there would be some where to run the power cables straight throw the bulk head but like i said i cant find one

I would run them under the floor if it was me and drill a hole in the boot, probably just behind the wheel arch and run it up behind the plastic panels in the boot.

Either that or drill a hole in the bulkhead and run them under the carpet, but they are big wires to try and hide.

if the wires had been longer i would of def ran them under the car and put the invertor in the boot !! would def of been my first choice

but there only around 1.5 m long so only place i can realy put them is in the passanger foot well :-(

Get some longer thicker wire and run that under the floor in too to boot.

just been to shop to see how much the wirer is !

its 26.50 euros a meter over here so that would be around 100 euros plus !!!

looks like its going in the foot well lol

well spent all day driving round trying to find the correct size grommets ! germany is pooh for getting stuff :-(

by the time i found some and a drill bit/tool to make the hole big enough
it started to SNOW!!!!!!!!!! i cant beleave it !!!!! was sunny yesterday,windy this morning ,but now winter is back :-(
so this will have to wait hopefully tomorrow will be a better day

decided to wait !

i really do like the idea of it in the front pass footwell !
so going to wait till i can get more wirer (but from uk its 1/2 price it is over here!!!)

i will mount it in the boot ,it came with a remote that mounts on the dash board so i can turn it on or off from the drivers seat and also is what the bat life is

What thickness wire was 26.5 euros. A 1000 Watts inverter could draw around 110 Amps. So a 5 Meter 8 Awg cable would give under 1/2 a Volt drop. Thicker 4 Awg cable costs under £5 a meter in the UK. Less on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-AWG-Gau...cles_Terminals_Cabling_ET&hash=item2a14e9acd6

i no its costs so much over here !!!!

but if i get from uk it then costs me ££££s on postage its poo ,im only over here because of job ,i love germany its so clean and nice but things for english cost so much ,as soon as they realize your in the army they double the cost lol
