As l need to buy a van for my business, there's a chance my 110 will need to be sold.
At the moment it's hard to know what the value is.
Pristine 2005 110 CSW
Standard specification except brand new Puma cloth front seats (original seats available and are unmarked)
ARB's, Boost Alloys, cruise control, upgraded stereo
130,000 miles
Everything up to date. Nothing needed!
New clutch and DMF, FPR, driveshafts, no corrosion at all and no scabs on the alloy panels inside or out.
Probably the cleanest TD5 110 you'll see.
Any ideas of value? £20,000?

Pictures don't show Puma front seats, but do show the condition of the OE seats which are also available

Note this is NOT a sneaky "for sale" thread, it's not for sale, certainly not yet. But l need to get an idea of value.

I’d definitely say in excess of £20k. The usual selling sites will give an idea of similar age and spec vehicles, and you can add more for lower mileage and tasteful upgrades. Don’t sell it short!

Looks nice, makes me realise what a state mine is in!
Try We Buy Any Car for a minimum value - their actually quite generous with Defenders. I’d say around the £20k mark, maybe not a lot more because 130k on the clock is erring on the higher mileage side of things.

I liked the old site where the repository for member vehicles used to sit. I like pictures :D:D

Looking at the history l've somehow spent around £8,000 on the old girl, since l got her. Big ticket items were the clutch/DMF and brand new Puma seats.
Although l don't think the seats will increase the value.
Swivel balls, discs and pads, roof resprayed, l also spent half a day fitting a galvanised mid crossmember only to find that the old one was fine when l got it out.

I also fitted the TD5 rev counter which cost nearly £300
And a heated screen. New side steps, front bumper, rear step, lamp guards, front suspension guard. Five brand new boost alloys.
And the underside has been regularly sprayed with a non-hardening rust proofing wax spray including inside the bulkhead using a 60cm extension tube. lnside the doors and rear
door, inside the chassis through any existing holes, inside the door pillars in fact anywhere l could get it.
Probably gone through about 20 tins of it.

Not all of the above will increase the value of course, it's just regular maintenance and parts replacement that you'd expect to do on a TD5.

Valued my 06 D3 with 143 k at 3.8k.

lt's insured Agreed Value, but that needs updating to reflect the price rises over the last couple of years.
l tried last year but they wouldn't increase it.
