Very few owners know about changing the antifreeze or the bloody brake fluid:eek:

In my case, 400ml of transfer box fluid left, engine oil thick and nasty, rear diff crap oil, so makes me wonder with the history whether anyone actually did much. Or just charged previous owner. I am getting through it all. Hopefully next few days get it finished... Will redo all fluids at 4 or 5000 miles. Its amazing these will run with such crap fluids.

Just been through a client's 1985 classic V8.
All fluids. The engine oil was black and crappy, the diffs, the box and transfert box were OK.. Ish...
The fuel filter had been in there that long it had gotten rusty on the metal caps and had started to crumble... I don't know how long that was in there:eek:

Yes no problem... I'll flush it soon... beginning to think it lacked in maintenance. However had full history
In my opinion, Full history seems to be no more then engine oil and filter fuel filter and airfilter if its not backed up with recipts.

Mine was the same heaps of stamps heaps of receipts for "full services" but diff oils was manky as anything. Airfilter was black. Transferbox was as low as yours.

If the leak is green, what colour is your windscreen washer liquid? Might the pipes have a leak?

Believe it not its completely stopped. Gunked it dried it. Been monitoring it daily. Nothing not a drip.. wtaf.. my BMW was like this one fault for a few days then stopped. Crazy. I just came home. Double checked Nothing... dry.
