I have a leak on my 4.6 looking from the front it looks like its at the back down at the bottom of the V where it meets the block someone told me that the best cure is to strip down and glue it seems a bit harsh any advice - apart from ignoring him

Favourite places for this is the Rocker Cover gaskets (Easy and cheap fix) or the Valley Gasket (Inlet manifold) end seals (Again relatively cheap fix but bit more involved than the Rocker Covers).
Should take around an hour for the Rocker Cover Gaskets and allow 4 hours for the Valley Gasket & end seals.
As you will have to partly drain the coolant to do the Valley Gasket etc., it would be a good opportunity to renew the coolant...remember it's a 50/50 mix of quality anti freeze and water.:behindsofa:
