Not much good for the D2, at least. There's no receiver in the fob, it's just a transmitter so there's no way that any external circuit can communicate with or interogate it. If the screening cover is any good then you're going to have to take the fob out to press the buttons to open or lock the vehicle and it's at that moment that the code for the security system can be captured by a rogue receiver.

I bought two pouches for my new-to-me D4 after reading about all the scares!! Do seem to block all signals. Mine are the ones which go under the brand name 'DEFENDER' and had been given a recommendation.

I use one when I'm travelling, big enough for my passport as well. I can't say I've tested it extensively but the key for SWMBO's Pug dunt open the car from inside. Craghoppers are including an RFID pocket in a lot of their garments nowadays.

Yes, mine are the DEFENDER brand and are also the size to fit a phone BUT I just folded the bottom up and sewed along the side seams. Eureka! Two Faraday pouches which just fit my D4 keys! And they do work!:)
is there any difference between the ones i got and the defender ones you have?

mine worked out cheaper

I haven't got a clue! The proof will come if they work. I went for the Defender as it had been given a high rating for efficiency by the Police and other users. I did look for two different colours so as I would be able to keep track on two keys - age!!!
