My landy has heavy duty springs on which resulted in the vehicle being lifted by about 1.5" I also have DS carbon shocks fitted. I could not fit the anit roll bar as it was a little short due to the lift. She doesn't ride all that well and was wondering if I should make up some brackets and re fit the Anti Roll bar. SOme say it is not good for offroad and some say it can afffect the MOT, what is the general concensus. Should I fit heavier duty shocks like terrafirma big bore or go for adjustable shocks like Gaz???

i got some 50mm x 30mm steel square section and some longer bolts for the roll bar mounts..

cut to length and fitted between the arb bush mount and the chassis mounting..

dropped the roll bar by two inch..

worked fine til i did some off road and ripped one of the mounts off the chassis.. lol..

arb now in my shed, waiting for better weather to weld it back on..

handles like a pig without the arb as i carry a lot of weight in the back of mine a lot of the time...

I dont have an ARB and have no problems on mine. Is this something as a result of lifting it?

Yes that and carrying a bit of weight as well, I have a drawer system in mine and quite a bit of storage also a roof rack so it is heavier than some. It doesnt handle too badly but I would imagine if I had to make a quick manouver it would be on its side if not careful. I have heard that people take them off when offroading cause there have been issues with them.

I had the same issue with mine but found that after poly bushing it with something nice and firm, even on MT's it was OK. Noticable difference but I wanted that articulation for off roading more than I wanted road handling.

Depends what you want to spend as well. X-eng do an unlockable arb which looks incredible but is about £300. In the end I went for adrenalin castor correction arms for about the same price and although not strictly in the area of the arb, that with the combination of the poly bushes appears to have returned the cars handling to OEM.

Here's a few pics although you cant quite see the bushes and I was doing th ebrakes at the time.
