another wiring question

Anyone got an old loom for a rear tanked 300tdi or TD5? I just need the fuel tank connection plug with 10cm or so of wire.

Land rover don't sell just the plug and it's all I need..

If its the loom side of the plug an not the tank side I might have one, or at least thats wot I think it is, I'm sure I dint chuck it.

Grunt - if you do have such a thing - i guess its a female connector, small rectangle with rounded corners, 4 slots to take the four small blades and some sort of clip fastening to connect it to the tank sender - that would be ideal!

Mine only needs two connectors as it's the 300tdi sender as opposed to the Td5 sender/pump jobby, but they use the same 4 way plug n socket.

Pics are a bit blurred but should be good enough, it dunt sound like we're on about the same thing. Dunno wot this was for I just assumed it was the plug for a rear tank seeing as it was near the rear crossmember.

Thanks Grunt but that aint the part.... On a brighter note was in another landy dealers today and lo and behold they do sell the plug for 4.50 with vat, for tis made of solid gold

My piccy was the plug for the towing socket on a disco but it's got the same number of pins and same layout as your socket so their probably connected somehow.

grunts pic is of a loom joint connector - oft used fer passing through bulkheads and such things - small dia than the trailer connector
