Hi All,

Just signed up yesterday and have a thread posted on some V8 probs but thought I'd add a hello hear also and share my first piece of advice with all.....

Never buy a hybrid build your own.. otherwise you'll probably end up with something like mine, a Ninety with a RRC engine and box that's an unknown quantity, an online ordering headache. A wiring loom that changes colour four times for a single connection along the length of the vehicle, a fault finding nightmare. You'll spend you life wandering whether that connector should actually be plugged into something and you'll wear out the phrase "i didn't actually fit the engine so i don't really know where that relay could have been hidden" - all good fun but slowly costing a small fortune to put right bit by bit, something that could of been avoided by a proper job in the first place!

So going by your reckoning your vehicle will be worthless when you try and sell it coz no-one should buy it?
fair point - maybe should delete 'never' and edit my advice to "If you don't want to bite off more than you can chew only buy a hybrid if its build is fully documented and your buying from somebody with first hand experience of the vehicle who is prepared to walk & talk you through it".
