Hello Landy folk
Joined last week but only just got round to introducing myself. I am a farm manager in South Oxfordshire and have been driving Land Rovers and alike all my working life. I have a Disco 1 as our family car, but have decided to join this forum due to just buying a 2a. This one has been repowered with a Rover V8 which is coupled to an old Range Rover four speed box (LT95 I believe. I intend to rebuild it, initially replacing the chassis (new Richard chassis unless advised differently) and then will go through the engine gearbox and axles etc. What I want to end up with is a Series 2a that looks as original as I can but keeping the V8 for a bit of fun. I will no doubt have many questions along the way. Here are some pics of what I call the "X project"
