Could also be a blocked pipe from where the wiper mechanism is. I noticed on mine that the black spongy stuff in the 2 air inlet at the bottom of the windscreen (Plastic cover plate for wipers) had brocken up. I took the whole thing off, removed them and replaced with some stainless steel mesh, and cleared the drainpipes. I never get moisture on the inside of my windscreen.
Just thought it was a good tip. As for the opipe for the windcreen wiper. just fill up the resevoir and if it does not go down within a week(as long as you dont use it), then the problem is else where.

Thanks for that. Will check it. Just when I had got rid of the damp cubby in the trunk as-well. Sods law.:)

ive had the same problem i had about 2cm of water floating about under the drivers side carpet it took me 2 days to get it dry again and ive no idea how it got there its stayed dry since so im at a loss on how it happened. ive bean told the rear wiper water pipe runs under the drivers side carpet have a look at that its a black pipe that runs with all the electrical wires under the plastic cover that runs along the floor pan under the doors.
