Hello again

I seem to have developed another issue with my already poorly 2004 manual td5.

I'm waiting on a delivery of a new cylinder head and fitting kit from turner engineering tomorrow.

The plan was to throw it in the back of the disco drive over to my mechanic who would fit it for me next week

But no it couldn't be simple could it?

I had to jump start it as I expected and success but I now can't get it in any gear including reverse :-(

Any suggestions greatly appreciated as always

Has jump starting knocked the transfer box into neutral ?.

Hi thanks for the reply but this is not the answer, if it was I would be over the moon but it's obviously not

Hi it has been parked on my drive so It's unlikely that anything got stolen or removed from it.

Can anyone suggest what to look at?

Have you got pressure on pressing the clutch pedal?
It is possible to drive a vehicle without using the clutch - start in first gear then easy the throttle off and feel your way through the gears. Right pain if there's going to be a lot of stop/starting though!
