2003 Range Rover Vogue (Nickname... The Bitch) TD6

Lets hope you are all having a slightly better day than me, right from the word go today my car has been misbehaving like a spoilt child.

Got in the car to go to work and bong!! (L322 owners love the Bong!!!) HDC inactive, ABS fault, transfer box neutral, no sound from the radio, in fact that won’t even switch on (sat nav work as does the computer)

Now to be fair to the old girl, she got me to work, and back home, so I do have reasons to be thankful, but it’s becoming a bit tiresome having all these issues popping up all the time.

Will do the check the battery voltage first, and have already checked all the fuses just in case as well.

I’m sure it’s because it’s been hot and then humid, and these cars don’t like damp at all.

Could it be a simple fix? Should I be looking for anything?

Any advise would be very very welcome

Many Thanks

Also, its an L322 and they are filled with the most extremely Hydroscopic electronics the geniuses at LR could muster together.
I am told they start breaking down the moment the owner perspires or lets just one Wet-fart slip out in the privacy of their own Luxo-Barge bubble. ;)
Plus the electronics have a built in shower system to keep them externally clean.

Cheers for the reply’s, it’s like trying to keep the Titanic afloat, and the dam thing damp free.

I honestly thought buying a low mileage one I would have less issues, will I never learn ;-(

On a plus note, looks lovely sat here on the drive !!!

They look even better kept in an air conditioned garage and moved to the drive on sunny days to be polished. They are status symbols not meant to be used and certainly not if it's raining:rolleyes:

AS your is a vogue model make sure it has the larger battery, they need it for all the stuff they have, the battery only just fits by a couple of mm`s.
A lot of places spec the smaller battery which is wrong.

Surely no-one would launch an air-biscuit and turn their Range Rover into a Turkish-bath? Besides, it would setup a feedback loop: brrrrt, boing, brrrrrt, boing ... and before long you have a runaway and we've all seen pictures of Chernobyl and Fukushima. Or that L322 in the car-park in Liverpool.

Indeed so, the Environment Agency would have to be called in, and the owner taken to safe place under section 14 rules for his/her own protection. ;)
