Well at the weekend I replaced the felt round the rear CSW slidding windows. Managed to feed it all round no problem and replaced the bottom plastic runner (which was snapped to bits) with the replacement seal from Woolies. Thought to masell well chuffed that's all my rattles and leaks sorted in the back!:D

Wrong wrong wrong big lad.....The Seal does stop the water but now it pools in the channel and leaks into the back of the wagon...balls.

So I'm taking it I best replace the plastic runner (mwc7612) as it has holes formed in it for this purpose is suppose:(

So anybody replaced theirs? I'm thinking i'll have to split the frame by drilling out all the rivits......balls:(

Dented my pride.....

Chin up chap, everything can be fixed! :)
aye it can but it cost money ha:rolleyes:

cant you just replicate the drain holes/slots in the new one??

going to try and cut some channels out tomorrow when its parked in the hanger.....but to be fair the channels are 10 quid plus the centre channels are 20 quid so I might go for a full strip down and rebuild...I do like tinkering like.

I don't know the answer but would be interested to find out as I'm planning on doing mine with Woolies trim soon.

Did you use the smallest seal they sell?

Gary I used this seal, it works and fits really well round the top of the window and down the side. Stops draughts and the rattling. It does bunch a little round the corners but its slowly taking shape. My bottom channel with the plastic runners was all snapped and brittle so I ran the seal under there an all. Sits nice but its letting some water in where the 2 windows over lap.....going to cut channels out where the holes are on the outer frame an see if it helps. Before I order new runners!

And my foot well was wet again.......f*&k ma life!
