Hi folks. Freelander Td4 LHD 2004. Just replaced the clutch master cylinder (no surprises) and snapped off the front pipe on the vacuum reservoir. I'm surely not the first to do this. 
I'm also wondering if there is a clever setup I need to do on the ECM having disconnected it. Seems unlikely, otherwise it would surely be necessary every time the battery is disconnected. Apologies to anyone named Shirley.
