I believe they are not repairable. Thats what a guy who I have used for various issues over the years said anyway. I got lucky and sourced a new one very cheaply, and then got unlucky as that gave up after a few months!! They do come up occassionally on flea bay, but would have no confidence in them lasting.
Decided to go down the aftermarket route in the end as I got fed up listening to the misses on long journeys

how did you go about that? dont really want to have to rewire. got a diso one in at minute but only got fron speakers and no cd player,. better thjan nothing though

Pretty much guarantee it's unrepairable. I looked for a few weeks and finally found one in the states, brand new unused- won it for $50. The secret is to search global, they are out there and bargains are still to be had. I put a link in a previous post about DSP amps may be worth searching for that a d contacting the guy, he was a dealer of some kind so may have others.
