am i floggin a dead hosre

had new head gasket done about 3 months ago now got problem with over heating, will try suggestions from you guys but got a new problem. disco's hasn't been driven for 7weeks (off work ill couldn't drive) checked it over before going out needed air in tyres put some water in etc. revesred out of drive paniced at noise, drove back up drive same grinding noise. there's oil on the drive but its a landy lol, tryed in low box sounds ok any advice would be gratefull i'm just seeing pound signs again help!

Could just be the tranmission brake sticking on due to lack of use?

could also be the disc brakes all around, especially if you have some rain while it is sitting, drive around a bit and it should be fine

another vote for sticky corroded brakes. won't clear up completely till you've had a good few applications of the brakes.
