After a downpour yesterday and the passenger footwell flooding I set about investigating today only to find it was getting in the windscreen to bulkhead seal it wasn't clamped tight enough.
So I set about tightening it until the seal started to get a little bit squashed.
Left it like that and did a quick test and no water was coming in. As I put the dashboard back together the bolt had shot out and snapped the aluminium it clamps onto on the windscreen.
So what's the best option for a fix? Anything easier than a new windscreen frame? If it was to be welded it would have to all come off anyway.
Were the fixed windscreens fitted in a different way to the fold down ones?
