Hello fellow Freelander drivers.

I have a question about wheels for Freelander.

I have found out the hard way, that the original Alu wheels for the Freelander, is not the same. It looks like my Alu wheels all of a sudden is touching the brake caliper, aftter replacing the brake pads. Is it so that they changed the wheels around 2000 ? Mine is a 2002 MY.

I have been offered a set of wheels, that is not original landrover, that had been on a 2005 model. Apparently these are made for use with both Freelander 1 and 2, with holes for bolts for both cars.

Do you think these will fit my 2002MY ?

The wheels specs are :

PCW 7x16, bolt circle 5x114 and 5x108.
The tires are 215/65x16.

Thanks for all help.

Hi there.

Unfortunately, I bought the wheels that DONT fit, at the same time as I bought the car, and I didnt know about either this site, or the possibillity of there beeing several revisions of the wheels back then.

Now I know, and that is why I ask here now, to be sure before I buy those 16" wheels. I have been searching here, but was unsure if wheels that fit a 2005 model will fit a 2002 model, since most answers here where about pre/after 2000 models.

Just trying to be sure.

Has been discussed maneeeeee times.
Suggest yu :search:.

But then again, had yu done that before yu bought them.....
