Hi all, Have almost finished fitting a 300tdi into my 90td, got it up and running and is charging but the battery light doesn't come on i have fitted the 2 original brown wires from the td to the b+ terminal and the ign light wire to the d+ terminal when i turn the ign on there is no light.
If i put a live to the ign cable at the back of the alt with the ign off the light comes on, with the ign on this cable is then live down to the alternator any help would be great. ( connected the alt also makes a noise when the ign is on )
there were 4 brown wires on the td starter sol + the batt cable and the wire from the ign, i have connected these to the 300tdi starter in the same order.
