Read somewhere where is is beneficial to wire the alternator power lead directly to the battery terminal instead of the current method of through the starter solenoid. Comments? If I do this, will I disengage the existing cable in favor of the direct lead to the battery, or connect both to the alternator? Welcome
The standard wiring works perfectly well, but no harm in changing it. Personally I would not bother as long as the cables are of adequate size and the connections are clean it will not make much difference.
