on Saturday, when I was on the motorway with 150/160km/h or so (Germany)
the light of the alternator turned on. I braked down immediately and the light turned off. Fortunately I was on my to the garage and the guy measured the amps of the battery while engine running with light and so on and 13.08A. He said he gives me ~5k km till it'll die completely. I thought about buying a new one and had a look on island 4x4. They have one for 150+ with 150A from Lucas. On ebay I found some for ~100£ new as well but no brand.
Do you have suggestions which one to go for as I didn't want to spend 368£ for LR one or would it be better just to go and let it refurbish?
