Hi.
I have maxxis bravo 751 tyres all round. My rears are in need of replacing but I'm having trouble sourcing them locally.

Could anyone recommend an alternative or should I press on and keep looking so that I have the same tyres all round. They are 235/70 16 106s

Thanks folks.

See that's the problem ( well one of them:D) on here. Someone mentions round black things, alarm bells ring & then the troops get into attack mode.

Why can't we have a thread on which tyres are preferred/best avoided? Nothing to do with 'will these fit or not'; just plain, simple what tyres are half decent?

OP; heard good things about Nexen. I ran Enduro tyres and found them comfortable, quiet and quite good in the wet.

Thanks for the tips. I don't really understand the first paragraph but I will lookout for both brands you mention and see what I can find.

Long trip looming and not much tread so need to act fast !

Cheers.

I run the maxxis and they have been great. Cheaper than most. I had 4 fitted new and balanced for £350 locally. I had a bfg a/t pattern copy previously and were also ok just a bit noisier.
