I have just had the O/S bulkhead welded but a bit of the seal between the windscreen frame and the bulkhead has perished in the rust and is no longer there! Only about a 4 inch section, to be fair...

Shall I just squeeze in some silicone sealant? Or do I really have to get a whole new seal and lever up the windscreen frame, undo the roof, etc etc etc? If I need to do it properly, any top tips or hints?

All advice gratefully received!

Cheers,

I also need a blank panel for the nearside hole in the wing top - opposite side to the air intake (200TDi) - but don't know what its called@!!$£@! 20 minutes of searching on various sales sites and no joy... Does anyone know what it's called?

Thanks guys! Right blanking panel and the sealant is Sikaflex 291 - also known as (or very similar to) Sikaflex EBT - available from Mr T Perkins. Picking a tube up later on. From the sound of it, this stuff should live in every man's man draw. Sticks everything to everything. Seals everything.
