Alloys for RRC

Been browsing about Simmonites website and found their adapters - do these enable me top fit whatever alloys I'd like as I'm embarking on a project with this car - my friend (in coachworks) will be making me a body kit and I'm pulling the interior out to completely rework it - indash touchscreen, leather, beige dash etc. And a nice set of alloys - what looks good on a RRC? Has anyone lowered these cars and had off-road experience with them lowered, or is it best to leave them stock height?
