Hi lads before i change the battery and set the alarm off ! does anyone know how to disable it it maybe something simple like keeping key in the ignition but want to check Thanks

i think theres a certain procedure in the owners handbook that tells you how to do it without setting it off, i think you have put the key in the ignition then remove it and then you have something like 17 seconds to disconnect the battery terminals.

Turn on ignition to II, then remove battery within 17 seconds of turning the ignition off.

wished i had posted and asked
i changed mine 3 days ago with jump leads hooked to the battery leads to keep power as i dont beliuve i have the eka code for the vehicle

YOu can get your EKA code from a main dealer, just take your logbook into the service department, shouldnt cost you a penny.
