i posted yesterday abt the loose pin in the volumetric sensor, well thought that it is cured but it came back again.my question is:
In the sensor plug there is 3 wires yellow black and red straped yellow.the red straped yellow wire was removed with the pin from the plug, went 2 put it again and got confused where 2 put, left or right inside the plug.the plug has 3 pins and wires and where the plug is inserted it has 4 metal things where the glug go,so how come 3 pins (wires) on 4 connectors?the yellow and black are in the middle of the plug and where must the red straped yellow wire go?and there should b an empty connector on a side?i believe this loose wire is acting up,i am sure tht the sensor is good,i tried putting the wire on both sides but it didn't clear the alarm fault.
Any help please

funnily enough I have he same problem at the moment and the yellow red pin is loose on mine I read that 1998 cars vin starting w are most likely to have the fault so if you go for a second hand replacement make sure it is after 1999 - also I think that the alarm fault is showing up because of drivers door actuator playing up as the alarm fault message is not only because of the volumetric sensor it is only one of the reasons it comes up

cheers buddy
actuator is fine,i have swapped the wire, still alarm fault,i think it is coz of the immobilizer disabled,i have disabled the immobilizer coz i am not sure about my eka,the po had it written on the owners manual book, but i said it is better to disable it than to spend hours on the street, dunno how i can retrieve the original eka code from thousands of miles away,by the way sandy how ru going with ur warm start problem, correct me if i am wrong but u did ask me about it earlier right?or i am getting nuts?

Well I did what you suggested to the fuel line but at the same time my fuse box under the bonnet burned out and since it was replaced not a problem -- when I took the board to bits it had over 30 dry joints inside and was fairly badly corroded so at the moment no problem with starting

wow.good for you,me also my baby is starting normaly since our last chat.i have to blame scortching summers in lebanon with temperatures above the 40ies,now with temperatures between 0 and 25 that we are having no problems so far.rangy hates summer,as well as i do too.
