Hi everybody,:blabla:
Very new to computors so here goes
l have a few friends who own disco tdi's and are having great problems
exporting them into France and changing their registration. Their seams
to be a problem with conformity and how to get the document, l don't
know if it is the age of the vehicle or they have changed the law.
l have had no problem with the control technique (MOT) and lnsurance
but l cant change the log book or registration.

This happened to a friend of mine - he had a freelander (which my other half bought from him) The testing was fine, but to get a log book, they required it to be left hand drive, as right hand drives were not permitted permanently. A EU law that had only been recently passed at the time.

This may be your problem. Testing was all fine, but they would not issue him with a log book - in the end he bought a french one as it was easier. It may pay you to look into it further, but I would expect this is the reason.
