hello
i know this is old tread but so so new to me...
how did you pin-point the condenser as culprit ?
i gassed mine and it was all lost until next day ...all works great --blowing motor, compressor ,electrics ---is just plain empty now
re-gassed second time to observe leak but nothing obvious ---shop where re-gassed was just closing so no time for investigation from thy r part ,to leave the car with them was not an option as i need to travel for work .is wrong to assume the leak is with the condenser because it lost all gas so fast? pipes are visible sort-off but nothing hissing or wet on them ....

Think they should use a dye in the system and a UV lamp.

I think the UV dye works but I had an air con specialist come out and quote me to repair my a/c and although I wasn't there my girlfriend said he used a camera to look inside the condenser which sounds a bit odd to me but anyway he told me the problem and quoted me £400 to fix it and so I did it myself

As wammers said normally the top left. Did mine earlier in the week as it completely goosed.
