When you press the button on the middle dash to raise the car, do you have to hold it down.

I hold mine down, it bleeps and flashes orange, but should there also be a light on the dash to show that it is raised and do the doors have to be colsed to do this?

ANy help appreciated.

Just need to get myself a remote and get it programmed to lower it down to hitch it up, anyone done this, any idea of cost. Also do all servies 2 have ACE for cornering. I have a cassette player but dual zone climate control and cloth interior with manual sunroofs, but not sure which model it is?? Its a y reg TD5.

Thanks again. :D

I have found that I have to press the button a second time and then the suspension raises accompanied by a flashing indication on the dash until fully raised; then the raised light remains on until a speed of 17MPH is exceeded and the the suspension lowers automaticaly.

Cheers fort that, Ill give it a go.

When you say the dash light do you mean the actual light on the button or a seperate one near the speedo dials?

Ill try pressing it twice rather than holding it down.

All doors closed and engin running,I push and hold mine and two chimes happen with flashing lights by speedo of symbol as on button.ACE is easy to find under drivers front wheel arch you should see a big damper/spring nearly horizontol, also in engin bay you will have resevouir next to steering fluid res, two bottles side by side. Seen the lowering for on flea bay for £50 and it will need main dealer or testbook lap top to programme it, want one myself but cant warrant the ££ for the use it will get.I think im right on most of this but someone will put us right if not. clever buggas on here you know
