So I thought I had this sorted. New airbags and a refurbed compressor. All seemed to be working well until tonight. Heard a pop/bang pulling out of the car park but car drove fine and the suspension felt fine.
When I stopped at home the usual hiss as I closed the door was a rather more obvious blast but only briefly. An hour later the car was sitting at the same level so no obvious leaks. I had a feeling all wasn't well so rather than find out tomorrow morning I started it up and checked the suspension movement.
It goes down but not up so now it is sitting at entry mode. Not a very bright move!
So what has gone wrong? First thought was the compressor as I replaced all the seals but that is running but not making an difference. There seems to be too much air getting out as it levels so valve block or relief valve?
I'll have a poke about tomorrow evening but any thoughts much appreciated.
I wouldn't mind so much but I've sent one car in for bodywork as the rr was fixed!!
Thanks

I'm hoping its something obvious. The compressor seemed much better than the old one.
The more I think about it the system beyond the reservoir tank seems to hold air but the reservoir does not seem to be being replenished despite the compressor running. Hopefully it will become clear when I take the cover off!

I've taken the box down that contains the compressor, valve block and air drier to find one of the pipes into the drier has come off. Makes sense so far, that would be the sound I heard. They seem to be a push fit so I checked and refitted it. No sign of why it came off though.
However the car still won't lift. Either I'm not giving it long enough - 3-4 mins so far but I don't want to burn the compressor out, or there are other faults.
I have read that the system needs resetting if there is a fault and won't work even if the fault is fixed. Anyone know?
How long should it take to refill the system?

Up to ten minutes with a door open to fill the tank, then close the door and it should rise. If there is a hard fault, the compressor will not run. A hard fault will need diagnostics to reset the EAS.
