Would it be poss to have a air line connector on the drain pipe of the air tank (p38) ? Not sure what pressure they hole or if it would be man enough to pump up the tyres?

You will knacker the compressor if you use it for tyres, better to carry a cheap 12 volt tyre inflator, you can find them for as little as £6. I have one I used to carry on my motor bike, it's very small, fits in the spare wheel compartment and is surprisingly effective.

Wise move, very little on the p38 was over engineered.
